Fishers Meadow Isla or just Isla at home is our 'sweet-petite' blue roan and tan bitch.
Unlike our other residents, Isla is registered with the lesser known Dog Lovers http://www.dogregclub.co.uk/. We are toying with the idea of re-registering her with the Kennel Club, as they have recently launched a new incentive where by providing you have the dog health tested clear for all current breed standard health tests and have their confirmation approved by 2 separate showing judges then they will allow them onto the KC register. That said, the only real difference between Isla's paperwork, and that of her future offspring, is that it excludes you from showing your dog on the KC showing circuit.
Isla is a very gentle girl with her human family, including our young children. She is a little minx when it comes to playtime with Tux and she really gives him the run around. But she has absolutely no harm in her and is great with other dogs we encounter out walking. She loves to chase a ball, although she isn't so keen on dropping it for you! Isla has been a great addition to the Simbell family and we look forward to her first litter which is planned for Autumn 2013.
Isla was bred in High Peak in Derbyshire and I am still in regular contact with her breeder should you require any further info on her background. She is sired by a PRA & FN tested clear KC registered dog, so her offspring will not ever contract these dreadful diseases.
